New Intro

This is going to be the new skippable intro, read it at your own risk!

Once upon a time, there was a girl... A very special kind of girl. She could control the elements; Fire, water, air, earth, and many more. Most of all though, she could control the powers of darkness, warping them to her command.

Her parents had abandoned her when she was young, and she lived as a street urchin, scrounging for food, sometimes going without any. The townsfolk recognized this, and rarely treated her with even the slightest compassion... There was a man who would visit her from time to time, he treated her differently than the others. He treated her with kindness. He filled her head with nonesense of white knights and fairies, and would even let her stay with him at the inn during these times. The man knew about her powers, and told her they were a gift like none other, but one she had to hide. He would leave though for months at a time, and she'd be left to her sorrow once more.

One day she presented the man with a gift- a small amulet she had hand crafted. The gem in the center wasn't worth much, but the girl had saved up for months to acquire it, even going so far as to commit a few degrading deeds to ensure she had enough money for it, much to the man's discomfort. The woman she had bought it from approached him only days after, claiming he had stolen it. Other villagers who had always disliked him made their own false accusations, and before long, the list of wrongs he had supposedly commited was enough to warrant death.

The girl tried to reason with the judge, but he would have no input from a street urchin, dismissing her from the case entirely. The man was executed, and the girl's resentment for mankind grew. She stormed into the nearby forest, screaming to the trees, the sky, the earth as she used her wild powers to no avail, trying to harm anything and everything. It was in that moment when her powers grew uncontrolled that the first demon made its way into human kind... A temptress that understood not the intricacies of other species, but only its own desire, and that it may feed off of man and mer.

The young girl confronted the creature, its form shifting into that of a storm, ripping apart the trees, its gaseous maw hanging open, growling at the insignificant thing. The girl would have none of it though, and forced the winds around the storm, driving it to its knees. She commanded that it would serve her, and the being, in utter fear of this creature of so little who could control so much, quickly submitted.

The town fell to the Girl's wrath, and with its falling, the demon retreated beyond her control, fleeing into the lands. The young girl had accomplished her wishes, but felt like it wasn't enough... She only now realized the full extent of her powers, and was intent on using them.

The girl grew as she traveled, slowly blossoming into a young woman. Her reign of terror spread through the land as she conquered entire villages, others with similar powers who had been in hiding following her. At first they were the occasional rogue bandit, but soon these folk were reformed or removed as she found solace in the company of adventurers, politicians, mercenaries... She had formed a small nation with an iron fist, and ruled over it with such while taking great delight in the sensations of mortals. It was during this time that she found love in one of her initial followers, a "disciple" as she referred to them. Months passed, and soon a daughter had been born from their coupling.

The young woman wanted a world that would be safe for her daughter, and understood that with her death her nation would collapse. With the help of her advisers, the Circle was created to handle the military, the Lord's Alliance was formed to give former nobility a chance at glory once more, and the Magistrate was formed to rule over both. Her rule was still strong, but she ruled over her subjects with a firm, protective grasp; warming, comforting, yet capable of damage.

Her nation would not survive so easily though... The lords and the church had joined as one, marking her nation as one of sin, of devils, demons, and deception. The woman knew these to be false, but could not convince her neighbors to the contrary. Her forces were outnumbered, the Circle had nearly been destroyed simply protecting the home front... She would lose.

In maturing though, her powers had also matured, and the young woman ordered what few disciples were left to call upon the same dark powers she had used for so long. She called them Chaos Callers, and enslaved the chaos they had summoned, forcing it to release demons from its own plane into the bodies of her soldiers, living and dead, to become a new army. The men and women who volunteered became hideous beasts, irredeemable to human kind. Her enemies fell with ease, ensuring her nation would survive as its borders quickly grew under the inhumane armies, utilizing that which was dark, unholy, and evil for the greater good.

This young woman came to exemplify the greatest goods, and greatest evils that humanity had seen in over a millennium... And she became known as Jenallia; Archmagister... and the Queen of Blood lust.
